La trilogia Queste oscure materie (His Dark Materials) è stata scritta da Philip Pullman ed è composta da tre volumi: La bussola d'oro, La lama sottile, Il cannocchiale d'ambra.
Sono tre romanzi del genere fantasy che costituiscono un'unica vicenda narrativa. La trilogia trae il suo titolo da un verso del Paradiso perduto di John Milton.
